As of 12:01am this morning—Friday, April 8th— the Provincial Health Officer has lifted all restrictions affecting sports in BC.
With the rapid change in public health orders, here’s where the province stands as far as COVID-19 restrictions and mandates:
Despite the changes, the pandemic continues, and coronavirus—though reduced in spread—can still be a danger to older adults and the immunocompromised. Because of this, Curl BC recommends both COVID-19 vaccinations and continued mask-wearing.
As people will adjust to the changes in restrictions at their own pace, Curl BC asks that all our clubs, players, and officials be respectful of other other’s comfort levels.
Informative curling video highlighting modifications to the game in order to play safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some curling clubs across Canada will use these adaptations in the 2020-21 season.

The Mission Granite Curling Club has received notification from the District of Mission prompting the following – All leagues, Special Events – Awards Banquet, meetings including the AGM, and Rentals are hereby CANCELLED as the Leisure Center is CLOSED effective 22:00 Monday March 16th. We hope to see our members in the Fall for the 2020-2021 season. All curling along with the Awards Banquet are officially canceled for this year. Refunds will be provided for people that purchased banquet tickets.
